I just now started a petition through change.org.
It’s a very simple petition. This is a rough summary of the text: Over 215,000 Americans have died this year because of the coronavirus pandemic. Over 7 million people have been infected. There is every indication that the flu season we are about to enter will make the crisis significantly worse. Please ensure that the Presidential debate is used to promote public health awareness and the guidelines of medical professionals, health experts and the CDC. Do not tolerate audience members flouting mask rules of the debate commission to make political points. America needs to present a unified front. COVID-19 affects everyone.
