With all the commenting on what the 'scientific' polls will show regarding the results of last weeks first democratic primary presidential debate, I immediately offered the following comment:
Democrats won the debate.http://www.politico.com/...
According to this one poll, both Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders received increased support following the debate at the expense of lower support for Joe Biden. The poll indicates Bernie received a larger bump, but remains far behind nationally.
Please remember, these increases are still within the margins of error and pretty much show little, if any, real movement.
If you support Bernie or Hillary, each voter will feel that their candidate 'won' last week. And everyone should feel that way.
Where this one poll does offer hope - democrats, no matter your candidate, feel far more comfortable with our choices come time to vote in our respective primaries/caucuses.
Satisfaction about the overall field of candidates is up among Democrats, with 33 percent saying they are very satisfied and 38 percent fairly satisfied. In July, those figures were 25 percent and 46 percent, respectively. And also remember, this was by far, and despite being limited to cable TV, the most watched Democratic debate ever. Democrats liked what they saw.
Donald Trump & Ben Carson remain at the top of the GOP heap.
PLEASE - this is one 'scientific' poll. The only results that matter come from voting booths.
